1. What Eliozz provides
Eliozz is an iOS app for recording, organising, importing, and playing family story audio. The website explains the product and provides a local QR generator, while NFC and QR links try to open the app or show installation guidance.
2. Eligibility and family content
You must have the right to record, import, share, and play the voices, images, and other content you use. A parent or guardian should manage use involving children and follow applicable privacy and recording-consent rules.
3. Local data, Cloud Sync, and your backups
App content and NFC and QR bindings stay on-device by default. A one-time purchase can unlock automatic sync through a CloudKit private database, but it adds no iCloud capacity and creates no visible iCloud Drive folder. Turning sync off does not move or delete local files. Cloud Sync does not replace your responsibility for the device, Apple accounts, and important backups; audio that never completed uploading cannot be restored from iCloud or the Eliozz website.
4. NFC cards, QR codes, and copied links
Each audio can have at most one NFC and one QR binding. First binding of an official e Tag verifies the NTAG215 physical UID and Eliozz signature. Free QR codes can be copied and are not security credentials. Because passive Universal Links cannot expose the physical UID again, do not use any Eliozz link as identity proof or an emergency service.
An e Tag may be unbound, rebound, or transferred without limit. Binding never rewrites the chip; unbinding does not delete audio or invalidate the tag.
5. Acceptable use
- Do not use the app or site to infringe copyright, privacy, or other rights.
- Do not disrupt, misuse, or seek unauthorised access to the site, Universal Links, or related infrastructure.
- Do not use Eliozz for unlawful, harmful, or deceptive activity.
6. Intellectual property
The Eliozz name, icon, website design, and software belong to their respective owner. You retain rights in content you lawfully record or import. These terms do not transfer your family content to Eliozz.
7. App Store, one-time purchase, and third parties
Apple App Store provides downloads, updates, and the one-time Eliozz Cloud Sync purchase under Apple’s purchase, restoration, and refund rules. The purchase unlocks the feature, while cloud content belongs to the current iCloud account; different App Store and iCloud Apple Accounts are not automatically combined. Share destinations and other storage services follow their own terms.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep the app and pages available, but do not promise uninterrupted, error-free operation or support on every device. Features, compatibility, and page content may change with updates.
9. Disclaimers and limits
To the extent permitted by law, Eliozz is provided as is, without warranties beyond those the law requires. Liability for indirect loss arising from missing backups, device failure, third-party services, copied NFC links, or events outside reasonable control is limited where the law permits. Non-excludable consumer rights remain unaffected.
10. Changes to these terms
Updates will be published here with a revised date. Continued use after an update means acceptance of the new terms, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
